Traditional Thai Massage is known for its beautiful stretches and compressions and will leave you feeling relaxed, loose and balanced.

The many techniques used in Thai Bodywork are all designed to facilitate flexibility, release muscle tension, ease pain, increase flexibility and stimulate blood flow. Rather than rubbing on muscles, I use my hands, feet, forearms, elbows, knees and hot herbal compresses to apply deep compression to the muscles in combination with passive stretching and deep tissue techniques.*

This style of massage is typically applied while you are lying on a comfortable, supportive mat on the floor; however, I incorporate the techniques into my table massage sessions. Hot compresses can also be used in the session.

*The pressure used can be customized to your needs. You can request a relaxation session to just take a break from stress/anxiety and general body aches and we can do gentle work leaving you in a Zen-like state, or if you are looking for deeper body work, I can use deeper pressure and deeper bodywork techniques.

What it is not:

You will not be turned into a human pretzel. :) Think of it as fluid, meditative massage that incorporates a lot of stretching and deep compression.
